Haru-PAS-Change of Pace

eve | Dec 18, 2005 07:59 PM

I tried Haru last week for a change in pace of my usual Sushi Senin (which I love).

Haru was a nice change. I would go back but not make it a regular spot. It was lively, a bit noisy but we needed something to pick us up after a long day. The daily special sashimi and rolls were great. The regular sahimi offerings ok.

Very good appetizers--roast duck (delicious) and calamari.

Nice service-friendly and caring.

Lively bar and sushi bar area. Very good cocktails (which were well deserved).

With tip and tax, about $160--3 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 rolls, a sashimi special and a few sashimi pieces. Not cheap but all in all, fun change of pace.
