Hi...I went to Agave Grill on Allyn Street in Hartford this weekend. I am THRILLED to find there are fish tacos on the menu. They seem to be made American style (with iceberg lettuce rather than cabbage) but they were great.

My party of four wasn't particularly adventurous in our menu selections but it wasn't for the lack of variety...we were just so excited about the fish tacos. That being said we all loved what we ordered (fish, chicken---I heard that the chicken was awesome, and beef tacos, cheese and also chicken enchiladas). Everything we ordered was great.

Also they do have a gimmick but this one is fantastic...they make fresh guacamole at your table as an appetizer. It was delicious.

This place has MANY tequilas on the menu (none of which, I'm happy to say are CUERVO) and you really should try a cocktail with them. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about MANY of the tequilas :-) and she had some great recommendations. The National margerita is fantastic.

Lastly, dessert was also very good: the chocolate banana enchilada was amazing (and huge), the churros were a bit disappointing in that they barely tasted of cinnamon sugar, and the dulce de leche cheesecake was also good.

check this place out!
