Harry's BBQ - unimpressed

FoodObsessive | Jun 4, 200501:00 PM

I went to Harry's on Narbonne in Torrance based on the reports on this board, but found it to be pretty average. Though the tri-tip was excellent, tender and smoky, and the chicken was good, the ribs were dry and the sauce merely average. Where things really fell down were the sides - potato salad heavily spiked with mustard, with no other flavors discernible, and bland, slightly sweet baked beans. Bottom line, I might well go back for some tri-tip to add to a party platter, but wouldn't go out of my way to go there again. It's back to JayBee's for ribs next time I can't coax my brother into making his award-winners...
