When Harbor Village closed last month there were a number of questions posed here about where the master chefs would go next and the fate of HV's concession at San Francisco airport in the International Terminal. I rec'd an email from a shy 'hound who I believe is in a position to know with the following information.
"The Harbor Village Kitchen in SFO is still in operation.
The head chef from HV Andy Wai is now at HK East Ocean along with the head cutter Lee Ching. I guess GraceAnn was misinformed.
The head Dim Sum Chef Choy Wei that everyone loved is taking a break and getting unemployment at the moment."
I'll note that I tried calling Harbor Village Kitchen at about 7pm PDT tonight and got no answer. Maybe it closes earlier than that? Anyone been there recently?
