Today a co-worker and I made it to Happy Trails Catering for lunch and ate outside (before the storms really come in). We paid about $15 each for some VERY so-so food. Maybe their catered food is good, but I had penne pasta with chicken, a salad and a drink. It was ok, nothing fancy. My friend had a sandwich a salad and a drink. Her meal was the same price and she was also very underwhelmed. We ate in the garden, on dirty tables and chairs that we can to clean ourselves, on paper plates and drinks were self-service.
We both left feeling ripped-off and while the garden is nice, the food certainly doesn't warrant the $$. So did I order the wrong thing, or am I missing anything?
I have spent much less and been MUCH happier, ie Pasadena Sandwich Company, Himeko, Corner Bakery. Part of the beauty of this board is getting good leads and trying them out so it is completely of my own doing, but pretty sure I won't be back.
