Unlike the other usual suspects for happy hour, Melville Tavern did not cancel discounts during the U.S. Open in June. Glad we'd put in a call to Cibo restaurant and Lalla Oceanside Grill, the two places that cancelled happy hour during Open week, before heading over. There were probably others.
The fried artichokes were stellar with a crunchy cornmeal coating, herby aioli and fresh artichokes. And we’d order the shrimp tostada again. Not a fan of the Cesar salad nor the dried out Buffalo style wings.
