We are in Westwood.

We are looking for good, happy hour food.

~~~
There used to be this great place under the freeway at Pico (under the 405) that is. Great happy hour food. When I was a poor student, we used to go there, buy one margarita (with fake ID, natch) then scarf tacos and burritos until we were stuffed. But that place is long, long gone. It isn't even a building anymore.
Baxter's in Westwood is also 20 years gone.
~~~

mccormick & schmidt is a good one. The one in Beverly Hills is pretty close to Westwood. They have pretty good drinks (I drink Jack and Water or Beam and Water, tough to mess it up), good happy hour drink and beer prices and good bar food, cheap during happy hour.

Where to you and your co-workers go for good, stiff, cheap drinks and good, cheap food after work? We can't be the only office in search of a good happy hour where you can complain about the boss over a cold Sam Adams and some buffalo wings or burgers.
