Happy hour: "well" drinks versusc "call" drinks

Can someone please explain this case of happy hour marketing: Why would a bar offer half price or 2-for-1 on all "well" drinks, but not "call" drinks?

They are still making a proportional profit-it's not as if they are charging the exact same price per drink.

One must read the fine print before ordering.
