Grilled beef filets (salt & pepper -- Phil's Meat Market, NW 23rd Pl)
Fresh sautéed morels with shallots, garlic & red wine (from the Portland Farmer's Market)
Fresh sautéed then lightly-braised green beans with bacon (both from the PFM)
Dry rosé (Napa Valley)
Fresh pears, bleu cheese, walnut halves (all from the PFM) -- more rosé
Black coffee & bakery biscotti

It doesn't get any better! Happy Fathers' Day!
