When FW opened here about 18 months ago(?) I was overjoyed. In recent months that feeling has slowly diminished.
In no particular order, here goes.
Meat department: Why don't their organic chicken and grass-fed beef state the source/vender? What country, state and/or farm are they buying from?
Also, when I asked different employees about the G-F beef, in particular, one said, U.S., a second said Australia and a third said New Zealand. WOW!
Produce: Many items' again, have no identification. Where is the organic lettuce from? Broccoli? loose potatoes, loose carrots and cuc's? especially during the colder months, I'd like to know....Chile?Mexico?
U.S.? Also, I won't buy grapes any more because, all too often they are quickly mildewed.
Breads; Their whole wheat bagettes (sp) turn hard-as-rocks within 24-36 hours of purchase.
E-Mails: I sent them e-mails regarding these issues twice and never heard back.
I'm not happy.
