I had some extra ice cream base that I couldn't fit in the bucket of the ice cream churn. I poured it into a little silicone ice cube tray that I had sprayed with some baking spray. I thought I'd pop them out and churn them separately later.
Turns out the base didn't really need churning. The little blobs popped out of the ice cube tray as little two-bite pieces of creamy ice cream. I think I'm going to be repeating this in the summer.
The base had some cream cheese in it. I wonder if that's what gave them the nice consistency without churning.
