Most happy buffet find - Cola, SC

Was traveling from Summerville, SC to the Southwestern part of Virginia and missed the I-77 cut off but found a wonderful chinese buffet. Please excuse the directions but maybe some of the Cola hounds can assist. The Restaurant is the Happy China Buffet and it is located at the exit of I-26 where Lexington Hospital is located. Go off I to right if you are going W on 26 the restaurant is located in Food Lion Shopping Center on left approx 1 mile from I. We arrived at about 2:30 PM and were afraid that all the entrees would be plastered to the pans having sat for a long time but that was not the case. Things were fresh and all items were in place and well labeled. The things that I really grooved on were the cold boiled shrimp, kim chee on the salad bar I have never had but always wanted to try but did not want to buy a whole jar and then not like it. It was alright but I guess I am more PA Dutch than Korean. I prefer Sauerkraut to Kim Chee. The pan of sauteed snow pea pods took a licking from me. There was a Krab coquette that was very good and a Mongolian Pork dish that was execllent. There was a steak pie that looked good but I was unable to try it because there was a soft serve ice cream machine that I had to pull a lever on. And to my surprise it was true cream and not ice skimmed milk that had been diluted with water. It was quite a blessing that we missed the turn to I-77. Still want to get to Shealy BBQ for of course the Q but would love to try the liver nips is there any special schedule on the nips?

I am regular on this board and I am surprised that Jimmy Buffet had not rated this Chinese Buffet. I thought he lived in the Cola area. Now that Hilltop has closed I know he must be looking for a place to light.
