My husband and I will be traveling around Slovakia and Hungary this summer for a few weeks. Do any of you have some good recommendations for restaurants? We like local color, traditional foods, new restaurants that blend different ethnic flavours, reasonable and expensive restaurants. The only thing I can't get him to go to is vegetarian restaurants. I am hoping some of you chowhounds can give me some great ideas on where to eat. We will also be in Brno, Czech Republic to see the Mies van der Rohe house and Martin, Slovakia if anyone has any suggestions for those towns. Wineries and wine recommendations for Hungary and Slovakia would be great.
