Google is really letting me down! Trying to find out what's going on in and around Boston in the next few weeks, in terms of festivals, cultural days, or other _chow_ events.
Chinese New Years is supposedly Jan 22nd. I'll be damned if I can find any info whatsoever about the Boston happenings. Sampan (the one source to list it) hasn't updated in months, Phoenix is a wash, ChineseBoston info about 4 years old, etc. etc.
Went to a great Cambodian New Years festival in Lynn last year (I presume it's the same date?). Nary a peep of this either. Even armed with the organization name (ROCA).
A few hits reveal that there is a latino-run Three Kings Festival (or "...Day", "...Feast") either on the 6th (Epiphany) or shifted to this weekend (Fri 2nd, Sat 3rd), probably in South Boston. Yet, slap me if anyone can find any detailed info on it!
And what of the Greeks? 19 zillion festivals all year, until the temperature drops. Isn't there a single Greek festival linked to the holidays?
Managed to catch a few Scandanavian ones - "Julefest", etc. - but that was mostly luck. Even after the fact, I can't seem to google them up!
HELP!!!! I'M BORED!!!!! (and hungry!)
Thank you all.
