What Happened to GE Cafe Induction Cooktops?

westes | Apr 14, 202111:36 PM     7

I have more or less decided on getting the GE Cafe 36 inch induction cooktop, part number CHP9536SJSS. When I went to look for pricing I am noticing that GE is saying the product is discontinued? Is there a replacement part number, or has GE phased out the entire series? Does anyone know if the replacement part works with the smart pans that the original Cafe worked with? That is not a key feature for me, but I want to at least try it out.
