I followed Food Wishes YouTube channel to make falafel, but mine literally disintegrated right before my very eyes......should I have added an egg to the mixture? The chef did not. I am now baking them. The only thing aside from the usual ingredients is that the guy added baking soda so that's what I added.
I spooned out the mess so I could reuse the oil. The oil was hot when I added the first few and then they just got smaller and smaller before they disappeared.
