I'm hosting a Hanukkah brunch this year. I've already got most of my menu down (gravlax; bagels; Bantam Bagels; egg salad; fruit salad; latkes; green salad; DIY bloody mary and mimosa bar; etc.) I'm looking for one, or maybe two more dishes, though, that are a departure from my own personal go-to choices. Among my guests are some who are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and/or lactose intolerant. Yes, I know that there are already menu items that are okay, but I'd like something else that's delicious and appealing -- something that goes beyond "default to this when there's nothing else." Any suggestions? Thanks!
