Has anyone eaten at Hanover's in the building that used to house Rattlesnake (and before that, Huckleberry's) in downtown Yorktown? I checked out the menu just after they opened and I thought it was interesting but bizarre -- they aim for upscale but have appetizers such as mozarella sticks and buffalo wings (I love buffalo wings but I expect them at Applebee's, not a fine restaurant). Anyway, I asked if they were going to be on Transmedia and they kind of snickered at me, which is why I was rather amused to see them show up on iDine (the merged Transmedia and Dining a la Card) last week. They don't have a full kids menu, although they have the mozarella sticks and chicken fingers for appetizers, and do have a chicken parmigiana kids entree now listed (they didn't used to). And strangely, when I went in to check their menu on Saturday, they had their Valentines Day menu out, and on THAT menu they had a full kids section (I don't mind going out with my kids but it seems to me that Valentines Day is not the day to change their policy of discouraging kids). We'll probably try it one of these days, since its now 20% off.
They also serve Sunday brunch but I forgot to ask to see the menu.
