Hanloh Thai pop-up @ Sante Adiarius in Santa Cruz

Melanie Wong | Feb 5, 202012:39 PM     2

In September I had a chance to catch the Monday evening pop-up of Hanloh Thai at Sante Adarius Rustic Ales tasting room in Santa Cruz. The menu is posted each week on Hanloh's website.

I chose a lovely pork laab that was verdant with fresh herbs but rather meat-heavy. But not a real complaint when it’s from very tasty Llano Seco pigs. Chewy, gooey pork skin was the best part! And the cook was not shy with the seasonings.

The low abv “La Mesa” Belgian table beer, described as a lower alc saison style, was a refreshing pairing.
