Hamburg hotspots, please!

Hello folks.
4 nights ( Mo-Thr ) in Hamburg in September for my friends 50th birthday.
Needing recs for lunches on the go - probbaly in art gallery areas - and for great beers ( esp local, small brew places ) and food for 4 x evenings.
I may be able to tempt my friend into one culinary 'experience' but beyond that we are lloking for great bistro/cafe/bar vibe and some late night bars with microbrews and ideally music that 50m year olds can 'get along'

Staying in Ottensen which a non foodie friend told me ( without specific recs ) was a great area.
At least one beerhall should be in the itinerary, but other cuisines ( particluarly Thai or Lebanese or Morrocan ) and some great seafood without pretension ( think La Paradeta in BCN ) would be super

What do we like in terms of German cuisine and atmosphere ? Well, if anyone knows Renger Patzsch in Berlin - that was one of my firend's favourite meals ever ( with Henne a kitsch second place ).

Oh and anywhere in a beautiful, interesting or architecturally stunning setting, whether for breakfast, lunch dinner or just coffee and cake - bring it on !!

Thanks for any help you can give.
