Hamantaschen in Chicago?

Rachel | Feb 27, 2006 04:18 PM

I've seen lots of discussions about Jewish delis on this board, but when I went to the websites of some of the places mentioned, I did not see hamantaschen listed on their menus.

I know latkes are favored here at the University of Chicago, but is there anywhere to buy good hamantaschen in this city? I'm especially fond of the walnut kind I used to get at the Hungarian Pastry Shop in NYC... Classic poppy is always good too. (I don't like the prune or fruit-flavored varieties much.)
