Ham Tips?

Planning to make Julia Moskin's braised then baked city ham recipe for Thanksgiving (from NYTimes before last Easter). Would welcome any suggestions on cooking the hams or where to order them. Links to the articles follow. Only my second attempt at a ham- tried a country ham a few years and decided to leave that to the experts. Thanks.
