Ham question/cooler method

I ordered a whole spiral sliced ham from Burger's smokehouse. I have a bunch of things going in the oven on Easter, so I thought maybe I'd make the ham earlier, keep it warm using the cooler method (or just tightly wrapped in foil)...I'm afraid if I glaze it first, it will get mushy in the foil. Can I pull it from the oven with NO glaze, wrap it tight, then before serving glaze it and blast with higher heat?

I usually make a porchetta for Easter, never made a ham in my life, but I figure if I can do porchetta this ham won't get me down!
