Had dinner at Haldi tonight, and really enjoyed it. Appetizers of lamb egg roll (sort of a take-off on meat samosa) and beet/potato cutlet were delicious. We had severals mains--Chicken Makmura, Bungalow Chicken, and Chingri Shorsay Narkol (shrimp). I preferred the chicken dishes, but my husband enjoyed the shrimp just fine. The saag paneer was probably the best we've had anywhere.
The menu is considerably shorter than what you can find on line, but still much to choose from. Room is pleasant, and service was friendly and professional. It was a bit quiet on a rainy Saturday night--I hope their business picks up so that they stick around (but not so much that we can't get in).
