Halal Indian Cuisine opened recently in San Rafael, out on the extension of 3rd and 4th streets, in the location of the prior barbecue place Best Lil Porkhouse. I stopped there for lunch today and had their Chicken Kabab Wrap, "Chicken with ginger & spices wrapped in Naan with mint mayo"; also grilled onions. $9.50. It was both delicious and large, and the "mint mayo", much thinner than mayo, went very well with it. I ordered it medium spicy and really didn't notice any heat; will get spicy next time. This place has all the promise of very good Indian food at reasonable prices. Check it out.
