A "Hail Mary" request from a Boston Hound- Peel-n-Eat shrimp

Food4Thought | Apr 22, 2008 09:25 PM

Please forgive me in advance. I'm looking for a place in Fells Point I visited over a decade ago which I'm not sure even still exists. I've done a few CH searches but the name has not come up.

The place was a relative dive. When you walk in the door, the bar was on right, there were a bunch of tables on the left and I believe the back opened up into a dining room.

This place had, in my opinion at the time, the greatest peel-n-eat shrimp. The bar/ restaurant was a person's name and it was one or two storefronts in on an East/West bound street intersection either Lancaster, Aliceana or Fleet St. (I think)

In lieu of suggesting the particular place I'm trying to recollect, if it no longer exists, could you perhaps recommend some current Fell's Point favorites for some bay seasoned peel and eat shrimp? (we don't really have this treat in Boston).

Once again, thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions
