Mrs. Crew took A.S. at his word on Friday and decided to give Habana a to-go try.

My take: the Black Bean and Carlos have nothing to fear re competion. Ropa Viejo was pretty mediocre, no flavor outside the meat. Picadillo was very finely ground beef--as A.S. mentioned--and I counted 3 olive halfs and 5 raison in the entire order! Macitas chunks were a bit fatty. Moros y Christianos were spicy and not just from the black bean sauce. The maduros were very good though.
