Restaurants & Bars 2

Be sure to try Gypsy!

I won't give a review of Gypsy, on Madison next to Chinois, but will only say that the food is excellent all around. It's hard to describe the type of food it is -- Pacific Northwest with a flair? I've been there three times now, and have loved everything I've eaten. Price range for entrees: $14-$20. Expensive for my taste, but for once, in this city of outrageously over-priced restaurants, worth it. Nice warm atmosphere, cozy bar. I would hate for this restaurant -- the best I've eaten at in a long time -- to go under. To get a sense of my taste, favorite restaurants of mine have been Cafe Campagne, Marco's Supper Club of several years ago, Kingfish Cafe (when it's good), and Salvatore's (Italian place on Roosevelt). I'm rarely pleased by restaurants in Seattle...
I hope some of you go and enjoy this restaurant!
