Using guru navi for Tokyo reservations?

ccadena | Jul 23, 201607:56 PM

Hello, I'm travelling to Tokyo in late October and am hoping to have one fancy meal at a high-end omakase sushi spot. It seems like for most of the places I'm seeing they either don't accept foreign reservations at all or require a hotel concierge to reserve (I'll be staying in an airbnb so that option won't work).

I keep seeing "guru navi" pop up as having an english reservation request service for no charge. If it's the real deal, that'd be a perfect solution, but I'm unsure if it's legit or not. Does anyone have experience, positive or negative, using guru navi to make reservations at Tokyo restaurants?
