Hi. A friend and I are going to be driving pretty much aimlessly around the south next month. Our diet will consist (I hope) of whatever might be had in the best barbeque joints, meat-and-threes, and roadside shacks around, but we'd also very much like to investigate the low-country Gullah food. Somewhere I read something about a simple oysters-and-rice mess--might've included greens, too--that I've had a taste for in my dreams ever since. Any suggestions for where we might find the real thing? We'll go anywhere and do anything necessary.
Many thanks, everyone,
