GuiLin Garden

Ramdom1 | Oct 13, 200111:25 PM

A friend of mine and I were on our way to Clement St for some Chinese food. Since I had read here about Guilin Garden, we decided to give it a shot.]

Two words: It sucks

It should have been apparent to me since the place was completely empty at 7pm on a Saturday night. Anyway, we ordered the Tofu with beef which was alright. The beef ribs/taro claypot was mediocre (the beef didn't taste fresh). Also ordered the Guilin special vegetables but it wasn't anything special. The lukewarm white rice didn't help either.

By the time we finished, there were only 2 other tables that had customers. At this rate, I don't think this place can survive given its off-Clement location and below-average Chinese food. Heck, I didn't even want to take the leftovers home.

There are better places in the area.
