Grumbling in NE Philly tonight

BJ's seemed a poor man's Coscto: weaker meat variety and quality. Prices fine. Similarly fresh produce: limited variey. Went to dinner at Marcaronis', where old Bustelton meets WElsh Ro. VERY expensive! We confined ourself to an appetizer and a half-sized pasta entree. Meat prices out of sight-not what we are used to in the NorthEast part of PHlilly They sure did know how to make a succulent lobster risotto. Spot on, maybe the best risotto Ive had stateside. Well worth #15. My appetizer, polippso or something like that was an ethereal mix of large shrimp, plump mussels, juicy little clams, squid rinks, nectar of wine reduction sauce. An unfortunate problem not Macaroni's fault though: a large party of collegeues from a hospital made it unbelievably noisy: cocktail hour, happy noiose all through dinner--party of about 10-12. That is something we could not have preducted at 6pm. Maybe we should have left. 'the noise was truly upleasant.
