I'm making a recipee this evening that called for lean ground pork. My grocery store (oddly) doesn't carry ground pork, so I bought ground turkey as a substitute. Obviously, the recipee (which is a Thai casserole with rice, peppers, mushrooms, scallions, bean sprouts, cilantro and a lime/soy/broth sauce) will taste different, but would you advise against the substitute? Any spices I can use to compensate a little? Other advice/suggestions? Thanks.
