Ground Hog Day Dessert Buffet

DaisyM | Dec 29, 201004:37 AM     7

I'm planning on inviting about 20 neighbors over for a dessert buffet on Ground Hog Day. (As you might expect, we have lots of the fat little guys snoozing in our yards).

I'd really appreciate some ideas for a winter dessert buffet, in particular I'd like something that can be cooking in the oven and will be served warm. (I'm not a great baker....so something simple that is pretty foolproof, would be appreciated).

So far I making homemade brownies, raspberry cheese cake, rum cake, chocolate covered figs and strawberries, cheese platter, fruit platter.

Probably will buy mini cannolis (great Italian bakery) and some mini French pastries.

Any suggestions would be very welcome! Thank you!
