Had an excellent mini Beef Wellington at Grotto (as part of their tasting, which also included smoky bacon gnocchi w/ chunks of lamb, seared sea bass w/ squid ink risotto and dessert). The beef inside the pastry shell was exceptionally tender and the pastry shell was very light and flaky (and also enclosed some wilted mushrooms and a smidgeon of foie gras) in a rich dark bordelais sauce. I preferred their regular cod dish (in horseradish sauce w/ caviar, and tender sauteed chard) to the sea bass special, which was almost an anticlimax after the gnocchi and wellington. The bass was actually eclipsed by the squid ink risotto underneath, which was very rich and satisfying and could have stood alone without either the bass or the roasted red pepper coulis surrounding it. Between the substantial portions and the wine, I was too full for the molten chocolate cake/coffee ice cream dessert and happily settled for some port.
