Long-time lurker, haven't posted in a while, but I used to browse the monthly GO threads, usually posted by Ruth Lafler or Melanie Wong. Thought I'd take the opportunity to plug other blogs I enjoy in the GO family. A friend of mine started this one recently: Grocery Outlet Ethical Bargains - ethical consumerism is not just for the rich :-)
Here are my two recent Ethical Bargains (Richmond, CA store)
Rocklin Ranch 2016 Pinot Noir $6 - not bad, but not great. Kind of thin, some Pinot character, but not a lot of fruit or spice, and a bit tart. Not a re-buy for me.
For more GO wine reviews and discussion, also visit The magical world of wines from Grocery Outlet https://grossoutwine.wordpress.com/
(also they're having their spring 20% off wine sale today through next Tue)
Redwood Hill Goat Yogurt $4 - pretty darn tasty, if you like goat milk, which I do. Not my usual Greek style, but pretty thick and rich - full fat (they also had Fage Greek vanilla for $3).
Note that I just read the labels here and took their word for it. On GO Ethical Bargains, they actually do some research :-)
