I was planning on making these rib eyes this weekend.
I am stumped as to what to serve with them, though, in the starch category. The recipe suggests serving with bok choy, okay, not a favorite of my kids so I may sub broccoli or rabe. But what would you make for a starch? I'm old school and like potatoes or pasta with steak. I know the trend now is not to serve starches as much anymore, but I have two growing boys that I need to fill up, and if they just eat the steak & greens, they will be hungry an hour later or less!
So with the Asian profile, I know rice is a natural, but I just don't like the idea of steamed rice with steak. I can always make my fall back bacon-kimchi fried rice, but I did just make it last weekend so, I am now out of ideas. Thanks!
