wow, what a terrific find – about 60m r/t from the Westside, not bad on the 105 – really nice romantic bar area, tons of places to sit, piano bar and dance floor, cool little patio for dinner or drink outside and the food == slid into a large booth and let the games begin = love the relish tray with an excellent assortment of fresh, super high quality veggies, bread basket had some sort of addictive cheesy crackers – table side caesar for 2 was outstanding, the manager was a real showman, and I mean a totally classic caesar – huge dinner size portions so if you get this you might just consider splitting a steak, which is what we did – had the famous ny pepper steak, it was strange because they split it down the length, but it still was fabulous, the sauce is kind of whisky based chocked full of peppers, onions and bacon – YUM! Great side of veggies, and we had the side tomatoes which were huge and served w/ blue cheese and onions and also ordered the cottage fried potatoes w/ onions and jalapenos, DOUBLE YUM! The place is an absolute hoot, tons of table side preparations, god I wish I had enough room to order the banana flambé for two, the smell alone was almost enough, or how about some real homemade ny style cheesecake for $ 3.75 a slice – the place was packed and everyone was having a great time and I can tell why – its not too often I eat somewhere and can’t wait to return, but this joint is one of those places. Nice informative web site and not afraid to post the prices – I brought my own vino and treated the server and manager to a glass, that’s how happy I was with the experience = total tab w/ tax and tip < $ 100.
