Greycliff and Cafe Martinique

Bill | Dec 5, 2005 05:05 PM

Taking the family down to Paradise Island in March, and I'm interested in Greycliff and the newly-renovated Cafe Martinique. Anyone have first-hand experience with either of these? I'm always leery of "continental" restaurants in vacation spots. If the food's not up to its billing, I'd rather eat a conchburger and take the rest of the bucks to the crap table.
People talk about the Greycliff prices in hushed tones; are they so high that folks who are restaurant-going Manhattanites will be shocked? I mean, after you've gotten a good thrashing at Il Mulino, for example, how expensive can anything seem?
