Greens Glorious Greens

You just never know how a city like Chicago can suprise you...
I LOVE greens (as much as a Northern can) and I just found the best greens I have had ouside of the deep South. At a Dominicks Food store...wow.
This Dominicks is at Fullerton and Sheffield in the Lincolm Park area, and is attached to a Dorm Hall of De Paul University. In the back of the store is a hot food take-out area, and in that display case lies the holy grail of greens.....glorious and glistening, smokey and meaty, spicy and silky.
Did I say WOW. This cook knows her potlikker. I never knew greens could have that depth of flavor...and in the back of a Dominicks store yet..
I am not the only one that has happened upon this glorious mess of greens. According to the deli clerk my new patron saint of greens only makes them twice a week, and when they are gone, they are gone. And they are gone fast. I didn't know there were other Green Gastronomes this far north...
I wonder what this lady can do with cornbread and peach cobbler...
If you love greens, or don't know them, and want to know EXACTLY what they should be like...venture in to the back of that Dominick's store some day.

Now what about some bolled p-nuts as a side?
