Just to update the reviews-- went to Green's last night for a birthday dinner. The service left something to be desired. Drinks came 10-15 minutes after ordered, as did small requests (like water and olive oil). The food was good, but not great-- definitely on the bland side. Usually a restaurant of this caliber does not include salt and pepper on the table (as it's assumed that the food is done just right)-- though Greens did. The wine list was very good, with several interesting small vintner options. We had the spinach salad (just ok) and potato pancake with beets and creme fraiche (bland) appetizers, and then for dinner pea ravioli (again, bland) and masa harina tartlet (very good).

The dessert was good, pot de creme, though I had to remind our server of our birthday.

Overall, I'd agree that Green's menu is no longer unusual in its fresh vegetarian options-- and that by now many restaurants provide such dishes with much better results.

The venue was buzzing (if not a bit noisy). It was an OK place for a special occasion, if not just for the ambience and setting (on the water looking at the marina, high vaulted warehouse ceilings, interesting wood sculpture). Service was not snooty, but was underwhelming. For the dollar, it's not a great value-- offering mediocre items that lack signature quality.
