Greenfield, Indiana - Chow Boom or Bust?

bluskies57 | Jul 9, 200403:42 PM

I am a dedicated employee, dedicated to seeing that my boss has a chowish experience whenever possible. I bring her goodies from home, and as she swoons I think of how easy it was, while she is thinking how complicated it must be!
Now on to the matter at hand. My boss will be visiting Greenfield, Indiana for the James Whitcomb Riley festival in October. Are there any chowish places that can't be missed in that part of Indianapolis? I have had personal experiences at St. Elmo's, Hollyhock Hill, both wonderful, and some other spots that are not memorable or worth mentioning. I will definitely be sending her to Hollyhock as it is worth the trip as well as her kind of place. Think of the best mom and pop place with good food and friendly atmosphere and thats what she'll love. Thanks in advance for your help and for the raise I know I'll receive with all of your great recommendations.
