Forgive my lack of knowledge of pastas and Italian sauces. I was wondering what that green sauce made from basil is called that goes on some pasta dishes? I haven't had it but just recall hearing about it. Bought a big bunch of basil today and would like to make it.
Wondering what it is called? How it is made? What can you add to it with pasta? (I.e. chicken, seafood, which vegies go nicest with it?). And which kind of pasta would be best with it?
Thanks in advance.
