I'm taking a group of out-of-towners to Chinatown this evening with the intent of trying soup dumplings. I'm thinking of going to New Green Bo but my archive research pulls up info that's 3 years old (except for the NGB-Joe's Shanghai comparison this year). My impression is that NGB initially had great service but has descended into rudeness. Is this impression correct?
Also, I've compiled a list of recommended dishes from past posts. I'd like to know if these dishes are still worthwile or if there are other good dishes not listed.
crabmeat & pork buns
boiled pork & leek dumplings
shanghai veg & wonton soup
yellowfish with dried seaweed
squid with salted pepper
double sauteed pork
tong po pork
stewed pork ball with vegetable
Finally, if you think I should go elsewhere, I'd appreciate any recommendations.
