I will be spending a fair amount of time over the next few months in Greektown (mostly at Grindhouse Coffee a great small independant cafe that has recently opened which provides FREE WIFI, crepes, good coffees, homemade (usually on the premises) kettle corn and in short is a great place to work in the afternoons).

However, I want to start exploring my options for lunch and/or dinner. Not big complicated meals at one of the many big greek restaurants, but I'm curious about the numerous little places up and down Halsted.

Which ones do people recommend?

What dishes should I get at each?

(today at lunch I went to Taco Burito King - only so-so for a small pork burito, but definitely cheap)

There are the three corners of Greek 24hr diners, Kabbab Corner, and I'm sure many others.
