New Greek restaurant in Eatontown soon

bakersma | Apr 11, 201507:20 AM

Per article in today's online APP, the family that runs the All Seasons Diner in Eatontown (and the All Seasons 2 Diner on US9 in Freehold) will open a Greek restaurant "up the road" at the location of the former Cobblestone Diner on NJ35 which has been closed for a while. Nick Zavolas said in the interview that they bought the property about a year ago; the new restaurant will open at the end of May and his father will be managing it. The sign out front will be "Apella Greek Taverna" and it will be BYOB.

Actually, the article was primarily about the 25th anniversary of their All Seasons Diner. They will be offering a discount to customers on April 14th and 15th to celebrate.

Anyhow, best wishes and good luck to them with the new restaurant. Always nice to have another dining choice besides the defacto Italian eateries that seem to pop up around here like flowers after a spring rain (and are usually gone just as quickly).
