This place is a NH institution. It looks like hell from the outside, but once through the door, you are transported to a time capsule of fine dining, circa 1967. There are reviews posted from the Union Leader dating back to 1987 and 1997--guess the next one will be 2017 since they missed 2007. The food is actually....good! Tasty avgolomeno soup, huge greek salad with slices of feta, tomato, cucumber, and olives. The stuffed grape leaves were excellent--stuffed with nicely seasoned ground lamb and rice. The owner is a glamorous Greek lady--think Arianna Huffington--and our waitress was great, on the ball, friendly and obviously had been with the place for years. It's across the street from the Center of NH, and around the corner from the Verizon, so a good choice before an event. Lexpatti, this is right up your alley.
