Greek Corner

A big thank you to those of you who recently mentinoed Greek Corner, in Cambridge. I went there today, since I was near there during lunch, and boy was it tasty! To start with, the service was excellent--we went for take-out, since we were running late for appointments, and the nice woman behind the counter rushed our order, and we were in and out in less than 15 min. I got the baked lamb special--lamb shank, so tender it was falling off the bone, in a delicous, aromatic tomato-based sauce. Boyfriend got the gyro. No report yet on that, but it looked great. I got an order of baklava, and it was great--the top nice and flaky, the bottom drenched in honey, and the filling was nicely-spiced. Much much much better than the baklava I picked up at Sevan's, in Watertown--that was a soggy mess. This was delicious. Picked up some taramasalata--it was ok, not great--tastes very mayo-ish.

Overall, I'm looking forward to going back. Thanks for the rec!
