For all of you that love food, I spent the weekend up north at a hotel in oakhurst. Attached was ernas elderberry house. The chef came from charlie trotters about ayear ago. It was a great menu.
Just had the GREASTEST 3 meals in a long time, the food was near perfect. Well worth the 112 per person cost, and that included wine. a sample of the menu

seared pacific wahoo with roasted organic beets and poached lychee nuts, opah bacon and basil coulis
roulade of free range chicken filled with trumpet royal mushroom duxelles and bitter greens with glazed carrots anc chicken ju
duo of colorado lamb roasted loin and braised leg with thyme jus herb polenta, braised swiss chard and succotash of sweet corn and summer legumes
salad of local field greens wihch was a mix of summer stone fruit, toasted pistachios and a moscatel vinaigrette foolled by a plum sorbet
perfect meal, would put spagos to shame
