The Great Tomato Tasting - Pittstown, NJ

I know there's a thread here about heirloom tomatoes but I thought I'd post this separately.

The annual Great Tomato Tasting will take place in Pittstown on August 31, rain or shine. According to a press release, the event will include the tasting of more than 60 heirloom and hybrid tomato varieties. Lots of other things go on as well including sampling of honey, apples and peaches and chef demonstrations that feature tomato recipes. More information can be found here:

This event attracts a lot of people so you should definitely RSVP. Also take a canned or packaged non-perishable food item for Rutgers Against Hunger.
